In materials of the European Commission in ESPRIT (EB-rossglen for the development and acceleration of research, using information technologies) identified 11 models of e-Commerce. Thus, in particular for the sphere of B2C distinguish such business models as electronic (virtual) store (e-shop), electronic auction (e-auction), virtual communities (virtual communities), electronic shopping center (aggregator) (emall). In the field of B2B there are electronic suppliers (e-procedures), trading platforms (collaboration platforms), information brokers (e-brokers). As well as in one and in other sphere electronic dealers (3rd party place) can work.

Among the main categories (spheres) of e-Commerce are:

1. Business-to-business( B2B) – commercial interaction between business companies (enterprises) – manufacturers, wholesale intermediaries, wholesale customers for the implementation of wholesale purchases and deliveries of goods;
2. Business administration (business-to-administration, B2A) – business relations of commercial structures with public organizations (including public procurement via the Internet);
3. Business consumer (business-to-consumer, B2C) – e-retail. In this case, there is a commercial interaction between the e-store and the buyer – the direct consumer of the goods;
4. Consumer – consumer (consumer-to-consumer, C2C) – interaction of consumers for exchange of commercial information (concerning acquisition of this or that goods or about cooperation with a certain firm) or retail auction trade between physical persons;
5. Consumer – administration (consumer-to-administration, C2A) – organization of interaction between consumers and government agencies (especially in the social and tax sphere)

Development and applications of e-Commerce. E-market participants

The electronic market is a set of its participants, products and processes of their interaction characterized by certain laws in the conditions of the developed structure of information communication technologies and systems. E-market participants include sellers, buyers and intermediaries, as well as organizations that provide infrastructure and market rules. Products are the goods and services for which buyers and sellers enter the market.

The interaction of market participants regarding the purchase and sale of products and other market activities is represented by processes that may include the development of new products, production, market research, search, ordering, supply and consumption of the product, in particular:

o commercial operations: order, receipt of goods, payment;
o product maintenance and support;
o marketing, sales, sales promotion;
o joint product development;
o distributed co-production;
o the use of the services;
o General procurement;
o business administration (permits, licenses, concessions, tax collection);
o transport and supplies;
o automatic trading of electronic goods;
o accounting;
o settlement of commercial disputes.

Sellers are represented by enterprises of different scale, located in different geographical regions and are at different stages of implementation of e-business tools.
